Earlier this month, eight highschool students were recognized for completing the 11th Hawai’i High School Auto Academy at Honolulu Community College. They were recognized during a special ceremony celebrating the completion.

The Hawai’i High School Auto Academy is targeted towards high school students who are interested in the automotive industry. Throughout the six week program, students interned at our dealership in the morning for five days a week, and then would attend classes in the afternoon. The internship and class time totalled 120 classroom hours, and each student that completed the program received four college credits towards an associates of applied science degree in automotive technology.

Through Siri, the scores of your favorite sports teams, or your daughter calling her friends when she borrows your car, can all be done without hands ever leaving the steering wheel or eyes ever drifting from the road.
